SAN ACADEMY PALLIKARANAI The eminent and stately San Academy was established in the year 2008, at Velachery, under the patronage of the San Academy Trust. The exceptional and formidable contribution of the school created a demand on the educational front resulting in the expansion of San Academy. San Academy, Pallikaranai, came into existence in the year 2014.

3.WORLD RECORD CERTIFICATE FOR TAKING PART IN LARGEST SELF DEFENCE COURSE

San Academy, Narayanapuram, Pallikaranai has received World Record Certificate for taking part in Largest Self-defence course. The prestigious award was conferred by Sri. Rabiah Baal Bakhi - Chief Operations Officer, Elite World Records- Lebanon to the School Senior Principal Ms. Sujatha S. The course involved 1036 schools from 23 districts all over Tamil Nadu with 6,09,039 students participation. Physical Education Teachers training and 72 steps of our ancient Martial art Kai-Silambam were practiced. This will aid muscular strength and physical fitness to the students.

4.BEST CO-ED SCHOOL AND BEST PRINCIPAL AWARD

San Academy always dreamt of reaching the stars and in the process it has earned several accolades in the past few years. San Academy, Narayanapuram, Pallikaranai bagged ‘ The Best Co-ed School’ and Senior Principal, Ms. Sujatha .S was awarded as ‘The Best Principal’ by CED Education Trust in “India Srilanka Global Innovation exchange Summit” on 10th November, 2019.

5.GREEN SCHOOL AWARD(GOLD CATEGORY)

San Academy , Narayanapuram , Pallikaranai has received the “Green Campus Program” Award under Gold Category for the academic year 2019 by The Climate Reality Project India at the International Conference on Sustainability Education held in New Delhi on 09th and 10th September 2019. It is an Environment Management system that audits the consumption of natural resources within school campuses and helps schools become good environmental managers by deploying pragmatic solutions to reduce wastage of precious resources. It is an environmental education program directed to subtly sensitize the students and staff to the environment through hands-on and thought provoking activities.

6.TIMES OF INDIA AWARD

Times of India, the leading National daily and the team of Times Education Icons has done the extensive survey for various categories in the education sector. San Academy, Narayanapuram, Pallikaranai has bagged The Times School Ranking “Top in National Curriculum - South Zone” for the year 2019. San Academy belief in leading through innovation and pursuing excellence in the field of education is thus taking us in the direction to achieve our vision of reaching the stars successfully. The award was given by Chess Grand Master Mr.Anand.

7.INTER CLASS RECYCLING CHAMPIONSHIP

San Academy, Narayanapuram, Pallikaranai bagged the prestigious “Inter Class Recycling championship” for the year 2018 –2019 on 15-08-2019. ITC’s WOW initiative along with San Academy, Narayanapuram Pallikaranai, aligned with the Government’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, spreading awareness to students about waste segregation and waste management through innovative methods. Students have saved 70 plus trees through this initiative as a path to create a cleaner and greener environment.

8.BRITISH COUNCIL INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AWARD

SAN ACADEMY ,Narayanapuram, Pallikaranai has received the International school award from the British Council at an event held on 04.12.18 at Hotel Taj, Bengaluru. The British Council International School Award (ISA) is a benchmarking scheme that accredits schools as having an outstanding level of support in order to nurture global citizenship in young people and enriching teaching and learning. Almost 18 months of hard work, team planning and collaboration with several schools in Singapore and UK has helped the School to achieve this award through several Skype sessions and school visit. SAN Academy always believes in nurturing young minds very early in life to various cultures and also imbibe traditional learning. Our Director Ms. R.Archana and our beloved Senior Principal Ms. Sujatha S. have attended the British Council awards ceremony and have received the award which will be valid for three years (2018-2021).

9.KAI SILAMBAM- GUINNESS WORLD RECORD

SAN ACADEMY group of schools proudly holds the certificates from Guiness record, Indian Record Academy, Asian records Academy for, “The largest self defense class for girls” conducted at multiple locations. All the participants were girls who were trained in ancient martial art “Kai Silambam”.

I , as a parent feel very contented and delighted to be associated with San academy. The school inculcates a lot of good qualities and enthusiasm in the children. This academic year was amazing with various activities happening inside the school. Even though the students of 1 St standard were not expected to give exams for EVS, the culmination activities conducted on the same showcased how much efforts were put in to imbibe vast knowledge in the subject. Intra competitions conducted each month helped the children in exploring their talents in arts.San o talents competition was very well organised with good arrangements made for the parents to enjoy the show.As a whole, this year went on well smoothly and I hope for the same next year as well.
