SAN ACADEMY KAMAKOTI NAGAR is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The state of the art school building was inaugurated by our founder Mr.Raja Sankar on 27th August 2017.

The School’s infrastructure emphasizes on making the learning process a motivating and engaging one for students. The building enhances the ability and aspirations to offer students best learning ambience. We build on ‘student-centered’ approach by offering a stimulating environment in which students thrive by developing both their intellectual and social skills.

In line with our philosophy of inclusive development, the campus also houses a large play area, as we always aim for all round personal growth of the children and at the same time learning is made fun for them. All facilities extended to our children are at par with International standards in a vibrant learning environment.

The campus houses the latest technological amenities. Library is spread over diverse collection of books under various streams and age bands for Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary classes. Science and Math Lab with updated equipments & classrooms with international standard retrofitted with advanced facilities.

As we complete three years now, San Academy, Kamakoti nagar branch has grown from a humble beginning of 250 students to 1300 students with the enormous faith of our parents. Parents have been a moral support in all school endeavours. The parents are the most strengthening power in molding the future of children. Their consistent support empowers us to do more and more. We pay our gratitude to them for their faith in us.

SAN Academy, Kamakoti nagar imparts education to match the advancement in technology and globalization and we march ahead with moral values and principles. Infrastructure

There is no denying how significant a school is in shaping up a student’s personality and holistic learning process. Like an experienced teacher and teaching pedagogy play a critical role in shaping students’ academic lives, infrastructure is also vital. It creates a favourable environment for students’ holistic development.

We at San understand that a school’s good infrastructure a key element in a child’s academic as well as holistic growth. San Academy boasts of state – of – the – art academic campus in Velachery which has been designed to enhance the teaching – learning process. We have ensured that it becomes the second home for our students. The classrooms are air conditioned and aesthetically designed where students learn and strive to achieve their best. All the classrooms are well equipped with projectors which augment smart learning.

The school also has a well-equipped computer lab. The campus also comprises a unique Audio-Video hall which is being used in music &dance recitals, theatre & story telling sessions. Every corner of the school talks about its unique pedagogy and offers an experience of learning while walking.

San Academy Velachery aims to give a more composed infrastructure that is designed to enhance the teaching and learning process.

Every class rooms are ventilated with natural light and cool air; they are fitted with air conditioners.

Class rooms are equipped with projectors and interactive boards to support the curriculum with various audio – visual resources to ensure effective learning methodologies and to create a competitive environment in learning.

Surveillance Camera

For safety and security of the students, the school has surveillance cameras in every class room, corridors , entrance, office room and at the reception of the school.

Classrooms

The class rooms are well ventilated and have ample natural light and air. However they are fitted with air conditioners to ensure that the temperature remains ambient even in the hot summer months of the tropics. All the class rooms are equipped with projector and interactive boards. The Curriculum and Resource team formulates various audiovisual resources required for conducting the classes and teachers use these resources effectively.

Good Infrastructure

San Academy boasts of a state–of–the–art campus which has been designed to enhance the teaching – learning process. We have ensured that it becomes the second home for our students. We also believe that a good infrastructure is a pre-requisite for imparting quality education. The school also has well equipped Science Labs, Technology Labs as per CBSE norms for the betterment and practical implementation of the particular subject.

Communication

SMS, Email Facility and Parent APP:The school also employs bulk SMS, e-content through Parent app and e-mail facility to update the parents about the homework assignments or any-other situation that warrants parent’s attention.

Transportation

San Academy provides transport facilities to all students of all classes. The transport system is hassle-free and convenient with adequate attention to the discipline and well-being of the students in buses. It is with this purpose, we as a responsible school, ensure that there is a Male and a Female Attendant in every bus.

Laboratories

A scientific temperament is nurtured through fully equipped and suitably designed laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Students are encouraged to use the facilities for enhancing their innovative and scientific skills. State of art ICT laboratories for the primary, middle and senior levels help foster technological skills. Students design websites and create software programs in keeping with international requirements.

First Aid

In case of any illness or injury during the school hours, the student will be given basic First Aid

Fire Safety

Fire extinguishers are placed at the appropriate places for the safety of children. Every year, fire safety drill is conducted in the school premises to teach the students the various safety measures to be undertaken to face any fire hazard.

Playground

San Academy has a synthetic play area for playing various games and a huge play Gym for young students. We have courts for Throw ball, Volley ball, Football and Basket ball. The school has also a Skating rink to provide quality training on skating for the young aspirants of our school. Indoor Table Tennis arrangements are also made.

Library

The school believes that every individual is a learner throughout his/her life and there is no better way to gain knowledge and wisdom than reading a book. The school has a well equipped library with a stock of impressive books including Encyclopedias, Fiction, Reference Books etc. It also has a large number of magazines and journals. The library is arranged in an open shelf system so that the students have direct access and it also has comfortable furniture where students can sit and read.

Transport

One of the highlights of San Academy and all its branches is its vigilant Transport facility. Which facilitates ferrying the students to and fro in the right time to school and home , the safety and security of each and every student plays a very important role and makes transport such an important department in San Academy Velachery.

With strict rules and guidelines to be followed by the transport department and all its crew members stating when it comes to the child s safety and security nothing will be compromised.

San Academy provides transport facilities to all its students from nursery to class V providing a hassle-free and convenient mode of reaching the school on time. For every female child there Is a female attendant and for every male child there is a male attendant in every bus.

Transport in San Academy Velachery is so well integrated and secured every student is picked and dropped with so much of safety standards adopted, GPRS monitored bus services by the officials ensures travelling in school bus safer and prompt our team ensures the parents are communicated and well informed.

The availability of school bus depends on factors like availability of seats pick up points and residential location. Transport charges are collected term wise for 11 months in a year.
